Luxury Hotels in Casablanca: What You Need to Know Before Booking

Casablanca is first and foremost an international business hub, which partly explains the density and quality of its high-end hotel offerings. You’ll find global chains as well as more intimate establishments rooted in the city’s architectural history. In fact, several hotels are housed in Art Deco buildings from the 1920s and 1930s, a period during which Casablanca experienced rapid urban expansion under French influence. Most of the major hotels are concentrated in a few distinct neighborhoods: the Corniche and Aïn Diab for properties facing the Atlantic Ocean, Gauthier and Sidi Belyout for well-connected downtown locations, Anfa for the upscale residential segment, and Maârif for those who prefer to immerse themselves in local life while enjoying high-end amenities. To decide where to stay, we recommend choosing your neighborhood based on your priorities: access to the sea, proximity to cultural sites, or convenience for business travel.

1. Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca (5-star)

Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca - Exterior View

Our review

Located across from Lalla Meryem Beach in the Corniche district, the Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca is undoubtedly the city’s most iconic destination for a luxurious stay by the ocean. The setting blends traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary comfort in a lush green setting: zellige tiles, copper pendant lamps, and geometric patterns harmonize with refined furnishings and high-end amenities. We were particularly impressed by the panoramic view from the breakfast room, where you can enjoy local specialties like msemen crepes or khliî meat while watching the waves. The spacious, bright rooms feature a stocked minibar and Diptyque toiletries. We also appreciate the attention to detail in every common area, which gives this establishment a rare sense of cohesion.

2. Le DOGE Mansion – Relais & Châteaux (5-star)

Le DOGE Mansion, Casablanca - Facade

Our review

Nestled between the Gauthier and Sidi Belyout neighborhoods, the Hôteel particulier Le DOGE is a mansion built in 1930 that has retained all the elegance of the Art Deco era. This architectural style, which emerged in the 1920s and is characterized by its geometric forms, understated ornamentation, and fine materials, is evident throughout: hardwood floors, ceiling moldings, period furniture, and bronze light fixtures create spaces that are both intimate and sophisticated. Each of the 16 rooms and suites is inspired by an artist or an iconic figure from the Roaring Twenties, from Coco Chanel to Ernest Hemingway. We found this concept successful because it gives each room its own identity without ever feeling trivial. The boutique nature of the hotel—few rooms, highly personalized service—makes it a credible alternative to large international luxury hotels for travelers who prioritize character over size. Note that the Abderrahman Slaoui Foundation Museum, which displays posters and artifacts from Morocco’s Belle Époque, is just a 1-minute walk away: a natural complement to your visit.

3. Hotel Art Palace Suites and Spa (5 stars)

Art Palace Suites and Spa Hotel, Casablanca

Our review

Located in the Gauthier district, the Art Palace Suites and Spa stands out for its unique concept: each suite is dedicated to a famous historical or artistic figure. We visited the Napoleon Bonaparte suite, where the 19th-century furniture, paintings depicting the Emperor and Empress Josephine, as well as the wood paneling and moldings create an atmosphere that is both cozy and theatrical. This bold choice gives the hotel a unique character in the city. Beyond the decor, the suites are generously equipped: a carved wooden bar, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, and a large private living room. We particularly enjoyed the spa, where the hammam, adorned with traditional zellige mosaics, offers a high-quality space for relaxation after a day of meetings or sightseeing. It is one of the few hotels in the city to feature a heated indoor pool, a significant advantage outside the summer season.

4. The Casablanca Hotel (5-star)

Le Casablanca Hôtel - Exterior

Our review

Located in the residential neighborhood of Anfa, the Casablanca Hotel offers a unique setting: a well-maintained landscaped garden, two swimming pools (including a heated indoor sensory pool), and architecture reminiscent of luxury vacation villas. The atmosphere is more intimate than in the grand hotels along the Corniche, which we found ideal for unwinding after a busy day. The rooms offer views of the gardens and pool or a panoramic view of the city; the Collection suites, meanwhile, provide more space and personalization. We noted the variety of dining options: four different venues within the same property, including a terrace and a pavilion, allow you to experience different atmospheres without leaving the hotel. Its location, just a 10-minute drive from Aïn Diab Beach and the Maârif district, makes it a convenient base for exploring the city, especially if you’re traveling by car.

Practical information

  • Neighborhood: Anfa
  • Restaurants: 4 venues – La Pergola, La Terrasse Jasmin, Le Swan Bar, and Le Pavillon
  • Outdoor pool in a landscaped garden, heated indoor sensory pool, spa, private garden
  • Aïn Diab beach 10 minutes away by car

5. Royal Mansour Casablanca Hotel (5-star)

Our photos will be available soon!

Our review

The Royal Mansour Casablanca is one of the premier hotels in the White City. Its position at the very top of the Casablanca market makes it a must-visit destination if you’re looking for a luxury hotel under a major brand. Its name should not be confused with the Royal Mansour Hotel in Marrakech, a luxury palace founded by King Mohammed VI in 2010 and known for its private riads and exceptional artisanal craftsmanship. Both establishments share a clear luxury positioning but are distinct entities.

  • Neighborhood: Sidi Belyout / Casa Port (Avenue des Forces Armées Royales – FAR)

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour front desk, airport shuttle, terrace

6. Hyatt Regency Casablanca (5-star)

Hyatt Regency Casablanca Hotel - Exterior View

Our review

The Hyatt Regency Hotel is one of the oldest 5-star hotels in Casablanca, located right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk from the old medina. Its location is a major advantage for travelers who want to combine luxury accommodations with easy access to the city’s historic sites. The rooms and suites offer a variety of views: the surrounding Art Deco facades, the medina, or the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest religious buildings, which is open to non-Muslims outside of prayer times. We appreciated the richness of the interior spaces, particularly the Dar Beida Restaurant—whose name literally means “Casablanca” in Arabic—which regularly hosts concerts and live performances. For business travelers, the Executive Room option provides access to the Regency Club, a private space dedicated to premium services. The full range of sports and wellness facilities (24-hour gym, 2 squash courts, spa, hammam) effectively rounds out the offerings of this centrally located hotel.

7. Kenzi Tower Hotel Casablanca (5-star)

Kenzi Tower Hotel Casablanca - Twin Towers

Our review

The Kenzi Tower Hotel occupies one of the two twin towers of the Twin Center, a 28-story skyscraper complex built in the 1990s in the Maârif district and which has since become an iconic landmark of the Casablanca skyline. Since 2009, the hotel has offered 237 rooms and suites ranging in size from 39 to 225 square meters, all decorated in a sleek, contemporary style. What sets this hotel apart from the city’s other luxury properties is, above all, the view: regardless of the room’s orientation, the panorama of the ocean or the city is spectacular, and it changes throughout the day. We found the dining options to be well-diversified with four distinct concepts: the urban restaurant INSENSE, the BETWIN terrace, the panoramic SKIES lounge, and the Lobby Bar. Its location in Maârif, a neighborhood that is both commercial and residential, makes it easy to reach popular shops, cafés, and restaurants on foot. For business travelers, the central location and available meeting rooms also make it a practical choice.
