We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is A\u00efn Diab Beach worth it?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Yes, A\u00efn Diab beach is well worth a visit, especially if you&#8217;re looking to immerse yourself in the local Casablanca atmosphere. Stretching for almost 2km along the Atlantic coast, it&#8217;s a popular spot for Casablancans, who come to walk on the sand, enjoy the sunset or swim when the sea permits. It&#8217;s not the wildest or most chic of the region&#8217;s beaches, but it has that lively, popular charm that sets it apart.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Maroc-Lovers\/Casablanca\/Beaches\/A&#xEF;n-Diab\/i-PHk2ctr\/0\/K77tqtV5Pks7T8S8gbGQPBGLmQW7dsZv53zKsCnFp\/L\/plage-Ai&#x308;n-Diab-casablanca-2-L.jpg\" alt=\"A walk on the A&#xEF;n Diab beach in Casablanca\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Type of beach<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sand or no sand?<\/h3>\n\n<p>The ground at Plage A\u00efn Diab is made up of fine golden sand. We loved stretching out and walking barefoot. The quality of the sand makes it an ideal playground.    <br\/>You&#8217;re bound to come across some youngsters playing soccer!<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Maroc-Lovers\/Casablanca\/Beaches\/A&#xEF;n-Diab\/i-LXXTsHh\/0\/MF5vrgMPsLmgZDsPZT794KXJMfHrqhXgx83gRnDfV\/L\/plage-Ai&#x308;n-Diab-casablanca-4-L.jpg\" alt=\"Sand at A&#xEF;n Diab beach in Casablanca\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Swimming conditions and supervision<\/h3>\n\n<p>Swimming conditions are good on this Atlantic beach.<br\/>We have observed that waves can sometimes be quite large, which attracts surfers. You can take the streetcar (line L005) which serves the A\u00efn Diab district.<br\/>Allow 20min for the journey from the <a href=\"https:\/\/maroclovers.com\/en\/visit-mosque-hassan-2-casablanca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hassan II Mosque<\/a>.<br\/>You can also take a cab from the city center. We recommend that you observe these rules to preserve the environment and keep this popular beach clean.
